Building a Matrix for Leo Lionni Books: An Author Study - Students listen to four stories from one author and compare two of them. This is a K-2 lesson from ReadWriteThink which can be adapted for kindergarten by having the children listen to two stories by the same author. Discussion via question and answer could lead the children to determine some similarities between the two books and discuss what they like about the story (and the way the author writes).
