ReadTennessee.org is a joint project designed to allow teachers, families and community members to work together for the benefit of young children throughout the state. Teachers can start here to find information, videos, lesson plans and units, explore a variety of websites with information critical to teachers, as well as lessons that can be applied to classrooms.
The Teacher Toolkit website connects users to the vast array of materials available through Math resource networks.
The Common Core State Standards Initiative were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and experts to provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare children for college and the workforce.
This website provides a “toolkit” which will help you understand best practices in mathematics for young children. Math is extremely important for preparing a child to be successul in school and after graduation.
