Michelle Lewis
Michelle is an Instructional Coach for the Jackson-Madison County School System serving teachers and students in kindergarten through fifth grade. She has served as a Reading First Literacy Leader and a classroom teacher as well as adjunct instructor at Lambuth University. She has presented at the International Reading Association National Convention, the Tennessee IRA Convention, the National Conference on Family Literacy, and at district and state regional Reading First conferences. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Lewis enjoys providing assistance to teachers in data analysis, assessment, instructional best practices, and individual professional growth in order to strengthen teacher performance while improving student achievement.
