James Herman is the Director of K-12 Reading & English/Language Arts for Tennessee State Department of Education, Division of College and Career Readiness. For the past 13 years, Jim has served the Department of Education in various roles in teaching and learning, special education, family literacy, and evaluation and assessment. Jim came to the department with 31 years of teaching experience at various grade levels. Jim has presented at state, regional, and national conferences on topics relating to reading instruction. |
