Amy B. Holmes is an IES ExpERT Predoctoral Fellow in the Department of Teaching & Learning at Vanderbilt University. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, she holds a master’s degree in teacher education and is a former elementary and middle grades educator. Her current research interests include young children’s mathematical reasoning, designing learning environments and pedagogical supports for mathematics learning, and professional development for mathematics educators.
